Looking for a job?
Finding employment can be tough. Especially if you are new to job hunting and applications.
We offer workshops on CV writing, interview skills and job hunting. These are appropriate for people who are just starting their employment journey, or for those who have some work experience but want to brush up on their skills. If you are looking for one-on-one support with employment, we are able to offer this on a case-by-case basis. Volunteering is another great way to gain work experience, and there are a number of ways you can get involved at Youthline as a volunteer. Availability of training and employment mentoring varies depending on your region. |
Looking to employ a young person?
We are privileged to work with some amazing young people through our training and volunteer programmes.
We are often uniquely able to recommend young people for jobs, and support them after they are employed to ensure they are supported in this new environment, treated fairly and learning the soft skills they need to be successful. If you are an employer looking for entry-level employees, or you are working in partnership to employ young people (like signatories to the Mayor's Youth Employment Pledge in Auckland) we'd love to hear from you! We might have a great candidate. |
